Kimberly Toledo is a freelance photographer, born in Queens, New York. She’d acquired a love for photography increasingly throughout her lifetime, finding a passion of sports photography in particular—having been an athlete herself, this was the perfect combination. Kimberly completed her bachelor’s degree in photography, where she expanded her horizons a great deal by laying down the foundation for her artistic journey and hone in her skills in visual storytelling!

She further solidified her credentials in the field by obtaining certification as a FIBA accredited photographer in 2019. As a seasoned sports photographer with a passion for capturing the dynamic essence of sports, Kimberly specializes in documenting moments across various levels of competition i.e., grassroots events, college athletics, as well as the high-level realms of the NBA and WNBA. She strives to convey the intensity and emotion that defines the world of sports through her images. In 2020, Kimberly helped in founding non-profit What If Unlimited. As the Director of Strategy and Marketing, she leads initiatives to elevate the brand’s presence, engaging in and leveraging her creative insight to compile impactful marketing campaigns.

Her journey in the world of sports photography is driven by a desire to capture the unseen moments, tell compelling stories and help shape the narrative of athletes from their point of view. Kimberly continues to push the boundaries of sports photography, leaving an unforgotten mark on the visual representation of the sports world.
